5K/10K Walk, Run or Bike Saturday, May 15 to raise awareness and promote ally-ship for the Human Rights Campaign!
The DRYY RUN DC Team, founded by Ken Sandy, Chris Cardi, and Erica Jackson developed the 5K/10K event with the goal to provide opportunities for people to come together for Allyship, Acceptance and Awareness in support of The Human Rights Campaign. The Human Rights Campaign’s “Strides for Equality '' greatly aligns with our mission and keeping with our tradition of community engagement.
The inaugural event combines fitness and philanthropy to raise awareness and promote ally-ship for the Human Rights Campaign fight for LGBTQ rights. Registration to participate is free; however, we encourage donations to the DRYY Run DC x Human Rights Campaign GoFundMe fundraiser page at: DRYY RUN DC x HRC.
Register for this event here. Virtual participation is encouraged as well. Select the virtual option and tag @DryyDC use hashtags #DryyRun #StridesForEquality. We will have a link to print out a virtual participants bib by Monday, May 10.
